Christopher specialises in international arbitration and over the past 15 years has concentrated on building his highly successful practice in Asia, particularly Hong Kong.
Christopher’s commitment to the Far East has enabled him to develop expertise and a following amongst law firms and clients in the region and much (but not all) of his work as an arbitrator involves Chinese and East Asian parties, local law and disputes arising from investments into and out of China and the region.
He is a panel member at HKIAC, SIAC, CIETAC (Beijing), and KLRCA and is frequently appointed in complex international commercial disputes in arbitrations seated in Hong Kong, Singapore, Switzerland, Sweden and London.
Christopher has found real satisfaction in work as an arbitrator and hopes to make an increasing contribution in the future to enhancing international arbitration's reputation for efficient and cost effective dispute resolution.
