Alex has a broad commercial and technology-based practice with particular expertise and experience in complex disputes about IT systems, software (including web, chipset, protocol stack, safety related and safety critical software development), networks, telecommunications, radio and mobile telephony, patent and software licensing and related intellectual property issues (including breach of confidence).
He is instructed by governments and corporate clients from all over the world in all areas of commercial activity.
Alex specialises in international arbitration in London, Hong Kong (where he is an active member of Pump Court International) and the wider Asian area. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a member of the LCIA Users Council, ICC, HKIAC and KLRCA where he sits on the Arbitrator panels. He is also an experienced Adjudicator.
